Instructions for Abstracts

Poster and oral presentations will be considered by the Scientific Committee based on submission of the short 150-word abstract, due by November 30, 2005. The decision on whether a paper will be presented as an oral presentation or as a poster will be made based on the abstract and author preference.

For submission the 150-word abstract, go to Pre Registration link, where you can choose your presentation preference.

Authors will be informed about the status of their paper by December 15, 2005. Authors of accepted papers need to submit an extended 2-page abstracts by February 15, 2006. Instructions and templates to abstracts submission are available at Abstract Templates.

Extended abstracts of all presentations will be published in the Symposium Proceedings, which will be available at the Symposium. Each registered will be participant may present only one abstract.

After aproval by the Scientific Commitee, extended abstracts should be submitted by e-mail (isphos3@cnpms.embrapa.br) according to the template. A word format file template is available here.

Abstracts Templates

Short Abstract:

The title of the abstract must be typed in Times New Roman 12, bold, with only the first letter of the phrase in capital

Last Name, N.M.¹; Authors should be separated by semi-colan. Presenting autrhor should be underlines.

¹Authors affiliation should contain institution and mailing address; ²Typed in a sequence and separated by semi-colan.

The short abstracts, including title, authors, affiliation and text, should contain up to 150 words. There must be a blank line between the filiations and the text. The text should be typed in Times New Roman, 12, without tabulation, in A4 format with 2.5 cm margins.

Extended Abstract:

The title of the extended abstract must be typed in the same way as the short abstract

Last Name, N.M.¹; Authors should be separated by semi-colan. Presenting author should be underlined.

The 2 pages abstracts, including title, authors, affiliation and text, should not exced two pages in A4 format, with 2.5 cm margins. The text should be typed in Times New Roman, 12, full justified, containing the topics as suggested below. There must be a blank line between the title/authors/filiations and the text, and between each topic :
